meg reviews substack
omg, my first post :)
Lets not make you wade through a long a** post about your mother’s cousin’s dogs birthday 8 years ago (akin to every recipe on the internet) to get to what you’re really here for.
My review of substack is - good and cool.
Considering it’s my first time posting here I’m not sure if I know enough about substack to be reviewing it. But we are on the internet, which is famously a place to give unwarranted and unqualified opinions on things.
My understanding of substack is; it’s essentially a blogging website which is making me feel very Julie from from Julie & Julia, which is good. It also sends said blog as an email so subscribers can follow along, which is cool. If I’m wrong about the blogging thing please let me know so I can update my review accordingly.
This may not be the best review you’ve ever read, but it’s only my first go at this. While I don’t plan on cooking my way through Julia Child’s “Mastering the Art of French Cooking” I thought this might be a fun place for me to share my thoughts, musings, and reviews. I’d love for you to follow along.
As the title suggests I will be reviewing “it all” which could include everything from velveeta mac and cheese to those swim lessons where they throw a baby in the pool.
If there is something you’d like me to review, let me know! If you hate my writing, keep it to yourself!
Thanks for reading this far and my apologies if you didn’t understand the Julie & Julia references, I really cannot recommend that movie enough. Hmmm… maybe a subject for the next review ?
